My Upcoming Panel on the Employment Law “Minefield”

I will be participating in a panel discussion and open question and answer session for attorneys on the topic of the “employment law minefield” at the DuPage County Bar Association on May 5th. If you attend, you receive one Illinois Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit.

The event is called “Labor & Employment Law MCLE Round Table Discussion.” My co-panelists include David Fish, Brian Dougherty, Don Rothschild, Tom Weiler, Ray Sanguinetti and Mark McAndrew. I am looking forward to a spirited discussion!

The topic will be employment law and what a minefield it can be for your clients. Yes, employment matters are complex and challenging, but they need not be, in reality. With the right guidance, an employer can shield himself or herself from many of the most potentially damaging scenarios.

You can submit questions for the panel in advance. The discussion will take place at the DuPage County Bar Center. This will be my fourth time presenting on matters of importance to members of the DuPage County Bar Association. I recently participated in a similar labor and employment law panel discussion at the DuPage County Bar Association’s Mega-Meeting.

I have been helping companies with employment law matters for more than 30 years, starting as in-house counsel for several Fortune 500 companies, followed by spending many years as VP of Human Resources for several large companies, including Harrah’s Joliet Casino. I practiced law for 14 years with a law firm in Park Ridge and most recently started Boznos Law Office, located in Naperville.

The panel discussion will take place on May 5 at 12 PM at:

DuPage County Bar Association Bar Center

126 S. County Farm Road

Wheaton, IL 60187
