The presentation explores how businesses can protect their assets through Non-Disclosure Agreements, Covenants Not to Compete, Non-Solicitation Agreements and Restrictive Covenants. Boznos will also examine the information protection aspects of new laws enacted at the state level (such as Illinois’ Freedom to Work Act) as well as new legislation at the Federal level (Defending Trade Secrets Act). Finally, the program will give guidance on evolving case law which impacts a company’s ability to successfully challenge a former employee in the court system.
Attorneys who participate in the program will receive Illinois bar-approved CLE credits. The presentation will take place at the DuPage County Bar Center. This will be the third time William P. Boznos has presented matters of importance to members of the DuPage County Bar Association.
